Disclaimer: I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review nor compensated in any other way.

If you follow me at all, you know two things about me. One I’m a passionate homeschooler and two, I love fantastic bargains! Guess what? With SchoolhouseTeachers.com and their online classes you get both! We are reviewing the Ultimate PreK-12 Annual Membership this time around, so here goes…

Why choose online classes?

In our homeschool we are very flexible and we love to learn using a holistic approach. This is where online classes can be a huge benefit. Why? Quite simply, they are so customizable to your needs! Here’s a few ways they are:

You can choose to print or not to print.

There are classes with or without video components.

You can use short 9 week classes or full year curriculum.

It’s easy to skip entire portions that don’t meet your needs.

You can use the premade lesson plans or come up with your own.

You can homeschool the entire family for one VERY low price!

How SchoolhouseTeachers works…

SchoolhouseTeachers now has a complete curriculum available from preschool to graduation. It gives you the ability to pick and choose from loads of online classes exactly what works for your kids and their learning styles. You pay one yearly fee and get access to EVERYTHING! You don’t need to buy additional materials or textbooks (unless you’re doing experiments or book projects of course).

How we use SchoolhouseTeachers online classes:

We actually use SchoolhouseTeachers in multiple ways but one of my absolutely favorite things about them is the video library they have. And it’s ALL included in your membership! Yikes, I love that! Honestly, this part is so awesome if you have kids that like video learning. And the great part is there are no commercials, so you don’t have to worry about inappropriate content!

Right now we are doing a Bible Study through their video series that I am really liking. It’s very applicable to young kids and short and sweet. Some other videos we’ve used in the past are Drive Thru History, Steve’s Treks, and Donkey Ollie.

Drive Thru History by Dave Stotts is so AWESOME! We actually loved them so much I bought several of his history series. He does a fantastic job of engaging pretty much everyone in learning history, whether it’s US History or Biblical History. Right now we are working through his Ancient History.

So much more than just curriculum!

This subscription to SchoolhouseTeachers is so much more than curriculum! Yes, there is something for everyone. Along with all the core subjects there are tons of electives. One I’m planning on using for myself is the Digital Photography course!

And don’t forget there are planners included, along with the option to get a hardcopy planner at a discounted price (and it’s a really awesome planner). Read my review on their planner!

You also get access to a record keeping program called Applecore, access to World Book (which is incredible) and a print magazine The Old Schoolhouse Magazine delivered right to your door! I’m completely crazy about the magazine BTW! I love really great magazines and this one is wonderful 💝

Focused Learning Centers

There is a section just for focused learning (math, reading, special needs ECT…). We are currently using the Reading Center. It’s super helpful as it has downloadable books, computer read books and books you can download and print to make your own. We are reading the Raggedy Ann series right now!

Is it worth it?

Oh, definitely YES! I honestly don’t think you will be disappointed. You can easily set up as many courses for you and your children as you need. You can browse by subject, age group or check out their scope and sequence. There are courses that are completely text, video or a combination. You also have the option to do many that are computer graded!

And yes, we have reviewed this package before! Want to read my reviews from 2018 & 2019?
