Praise Hymn Bible Books

Jenny/ May 5, 2022/ Homeschool Reviews

Do you struggle to teach your younger kids about God’s Word? It can often be difficult to keep their attention and engage them. However, there is a great series of learning books for your children from Praise Hymn Inc. that takes your child through the Bible in a fun, but very in-depth way! The series is called Praise Hymn Bible Books 1-6. Each book covers one full year with 100 lessons and is intended for elementary age students, starting with book 1.

Unlike many Bible studies for kids, these are NOT full of fluff. In fact, they are incredibly good quality and designed for your children to actually learn the Scripture. They are solid Biblically and will help you lay a firm foundation. They could most definitely be used in homeschools (that’s us), Christian schools, Sunday schools or from any Christian parent!

Each book has an available teacher and student book. The teacher book is reusable while the student’s is not. Each set is $26.98 making it an incredibly reasonable resource for a year. Extra student books are only $7.98 so if you have multiple children it’s still very inexpensive! They are also available as downloads so you could print as many as you needed 🙂

Praise Hymn Bible Books contain:

Book 1, By God’s Hands, covers Creation through Noah, Abraham through Jacob, Joseph, Plagues of Egypt, Moses and the exodus to Canaan, Books of the Old Testament, After Canaan, Esther, John the Baptist, Miracles of Jesus, Books of the New Testament, Conversion of Paul, Paul’s Letters (Romans-2 Corinthians), Christmas, and Easter.

Book 2, On God’s Side, covers Creation through Noah, Abraham through Jacob, Joseph, Plagues of Egypt, Moses and the exodus to Canaan, Books of the Old Testament, After Canaan, Esther, John the Baptist, Miracles of Jesus, Books of the New Testament, Conversion of Paul, Paul’s Letters (Romans-2 Corinthians), Christmas, and Easter.

Book 3, With God’s Help, covers Nehemiah, Old Testament Prophets, Actions of Jesus, Acts, Hebrews through Revelation, Auca Missionary Story, Christmas, and Easter.

Book 4, On God’s Path, covers Nehemiah, Old Testament Prophets, Actions of Jesus, Acts, Hebrews through Revelation, Auca Missionary Story, Christmas, and Easter.

Book 5, In God’s Word, covers How We Got Our Bible, Joshua and the Conquests, Judges, Ruth, Psalms and Proverbs, Kings of Israel, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, Teachings of Jesus, Letters from Paul (Galatians-Titus), Christmas, and Easter.

Book 6, To God’s Glory, covers Old Testament Prophets, Job, Israel to Modern Times, Actions of Jesus, New Testament Letters (Hebrews-Revelation), and Hall of Fame & Shame Study.

Each one after book 1 also contains review from the previous book. I would recommend starting with book 1 regardless of age so your children get a complete picture of the Bible.

Here are just a few inside pictures of what’s in these books 🙂

Last year we were also able to review God Made Music for this same company and we LOVED it! They are very concerned about Biblical accuracy and understanding so I feel extremely comfortable using them. I highly recommend you try these with your kids as I think you will love them!

disclaimer: I received these materials free for my fair and honest review. I was not required to give a positive review or compensated in any other way.
