“Night of the Piper”

Do your kids love superheroes? Both of my boys do! Unfortunately, I’m not so crazy about a lot of them 🙁 Their character often leaves much to be desired! So, I was thrilled last year to find a comic book superhero we could all be proud of: Captain Sun! Recently, they contacted me and asked if I would do another review on the book “Night of the Piper”. Since my boys loved the other book about Captain Sun, I gladly said yes!

What this comic book is about…

Like most comic book superheroes Captain Sun is all about rescuing those in need! This book is no different. I do love the twists and turns in this book though😉. I’m not going to spoil it, but give you some details without telling all.

Captain Sun is called to investigate the disappearance of hundreds of orphaned children. What he finds is both disturbing and shocking. Children are being lead away and deceived by a Piper who plays haunting music that captures the minds of all who hear it. Unfortunately for Captain Sun he is not immune to the powers of the Piper!

Like the other books in this series, Captain Sun is helpful, brave and has a Godly character! You won’t find scantily clad heroines in this comic book. Nor will you find the constant friction between the superheroes that’s so common in the conventional ones. Instead you’ll find teamwork is praised and everyone is appreciated for their gifts!

Read the whole comic book to find out the rest…

Now, what did my kids think of this comic book and the superhero Captain Sun? Both of them loved it! I read it to them several times! It has a great message, along with Scripture throughout in little devotional type blocks.

What’s the purpose behind these comic books & the superhero Captain Sun?

Night of the Piper is dedicated to exploited children! In buying this book you help those who can’t help themselves! All proceeds go to the Butterfly Project!
