Its Fall! + A Recipe🍁

Jenny/ October 25, 2020/ Family Life

Its the most gorgeous time of the year! I am SO living this fall weather and we are spending most of our days outside. The trees are STUNNING this year where we live!

What can you do for homeschooling in the Fall?

Now is the PERFECT time for nature study with trees and their leaves! Make leaf rubbings, collect acorns or walnuts and make a leaf collection.

Another great thing to do in the Fall is make some yummy food for eating at the picnic table outside! Here’s a great recipe to make:

Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Peppers:

  1. Cut sweet peppers down the side, cut tops off amd de-seed.
  2. Stuff with cream cheese and shredded cheese or your choice of stuffing. We like spinach artichoke dip!
  3. Wrap in bacon and bake at 445 degrees for 15 minutes or until crispy and melted.
  4. Serve hot or cold both are equally delicious!

I hope this inspires you to get outside in the lovely fall weather and enjoy it with your kids!
