Sometimes we are able to review products that are fantastic for both myself and our kids. This was the case with The Hidden Message of The Great Seal, How Foundational Truth from the Dawn of Liberty May Rescue a Republic in Peril by The Hidden Message, LLC. Michael Kanis is the author of this book on real freedom and WOW he is a fantastic writer and researcher!

the hidden message freedom

I honestly had never heard of anything about this subject but when we were given the chance to review it I thought it looked so interesting when I read the excerpt. I was so RIGHT!

I have always loved books that were investigative or historical fiction/fact. So when I started reading this one I was hooked immediately! The author does a splendid job of combining excellent writing with AWESOME research!

What is this book about?

Have you ever wondered exactly what The Great Seal of our country stands for? Is it just a bunch of random symbols placed together? Or is it occultic in nature or perhaps involved with the Freemasonary? Maybe you’re like me and have watched the National Treasure movies and thought perhaps there might be clues on our symbols. You might be right!

the hidden message of the great seal

However this book is wayyy more than a bunch of conspiracy theories. It is overflowing (252 pages here people!) with incredible history that I’d never heard before! Don’t worry, he’s got all the evidence to back up his claims. 😜 I also want to note this is a high quality paperback (think coffee table book) and FULL of high quality glossy photos and document scans!

Just the history on the men who helped make/guard the seal is fascinating and we’re actually going to do American history next year and I’m using this book as my basis. Its really that good!

I also want this noted first and foremost; that Michael Kanis is a dedicated Christian and his goal with this book is to help turn a nation to the Living God!

How is this book on freedom beneficial to me?

Have you looked at our nation lately and shuddered as we seem to be going further and further away from our foundational beliefs? I know I have! But if we want our children to do differently then we MUST teach them true history, not the watered down philosophy that liberal media wants them to believe. They must know the truth and the truth will set them free!

This book takes you through the reason and history behind a great seal. Do you know what heraldry is? I didn’t until I read this. Why is the meaning hidden? Then we get to discover the lives of the individuals involved in this. Wow! What men of honor and integrity. When people saw Charles Thompson coming they would say “there comes the truth”.

Next we’ll journey to the reason for each symbol and words. Are they pagan? Did you wonder what the pyramid and the Great Eye really mean?

Then you’ll go through the early designs and the Covenant and then the front of the seal.

This book isn’t about just the symbols though its about the underlying pillars of our nation: virtue, freedom, providence and unity! Then wrap it up and come out amazed at what has been in front of us our whole lives with hardly a second glance!

If you are a lover of freedom and a follower of Christ I cannot recommend this book too strongly! If you want to teach your children and yourself true history I cannot recommend this book too much! And if you’re truly seeking for answers this is an awesome place to investigate!
