If you’ve never heard of Drive Thru History® Adventures with Dave Stotts you are seriously missing out! And the new series called Bible Unearthed definitely lives up to his other productions. This is an absolutely fantastic resource that teaches you and your children about archeology that specifically supports the Bible.

We have had the privilege of reviewing Drive Thru History® Adventures and we’ve also purchased the other sets because we love history and Dave Stotts is the most incredible teacher ever. This series, which is 12 parts, is no exception! Archeology could be a dry dull subject buttt instead this series keeps you intrigued the entire time. We all loved it!

What’s included in Bible Unearthed?

There are 12 videos plus lessons and more! It explains everything from what archeology is to how you can get involved in archeology. Dave Stotts, Titus Kennedy and Randal Niles all help with this series. If you’ve never seen Dave, he’s hilarious and keeps you laughing the whole time as he tries to NOT break Titus’ artifacts😂.

We learned so much about the Bible through this program! There is an amazing amount of evidence out there to support the Bible! This is streaming video with lifetime access.

How does the course work?

First this is a very easy course to navigate. Everything is put together so you’re not constantly bouncing from one place to the next. The videos are professionally filmed and about 15 minutes each. Then there is reading, photos of historical artifacts or people and projects and worksheets. A sample course plan is provided and all readings can either be done online or printed.

You can really choose how to make this work for your family best. For example my kids are all 9 and younger so we watched the videos together and talked about what we learned. But for myself I read the extra articles and looked over the worksheets and projects. As my kids get older these will be such FUN projects to do! For instance one has you pick an archeological site and get aerial photos to design your own dig! How cool is that!! There are also scripture readings with each episode.

There is an incredible amount of information in this course but in my opinion the best part is its broken down into manageable chunks that are easy to understand (even for me or kids with no prior archeology understanding). My 9 year old son was enthralled with it and begged to watch more than one episode at a time😁.

Each episode goes a bit deeper into archeology and the methods used, the reason why we need it ECT…They also show video clips of Dave or Titus as they go to the actual archeological digs! Titus is an archeologist.

This is a wonderful way to bring history to life for your kids and to show them how many things have been found that support the accuracy and existence of Biblical history. Its the perfect way to study to show yourself approved!

We have reviewed Dave Stott’s other series before in Acts to Revelation!
