Maple Syrup Whole Wheat Brownies

Jenny/ July 30, 2020/ Uncategorised

I don’t know about anyone else but I have a serious addiction to dark chocolate brownies! But unfortunately the boxed brownies are full of sugar and artificial additives, not to mention white flour. Yuck! If I’m going to indulge I might as well have them be as healthy for me as possible. I have come up with a recipe made with entirely healthy ingredients. Read on to find my recipe for maple syrup whole wheat dark chocolate brownies. Seriously delicious!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup dark cocoa, unsweetened

1/4 cup oil or butter, melted

1/2 cup oil or butter, melted

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup raw sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Combine all wet ingredients and beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased brownie pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until firm but still slightly gooey.

Serve warm! Enjoy!
