Reading Eggs Learning Program
You’ve probably heard of the Reading Eggs learning program and perhaps you’ve even read past reviews from me. But if not, here’s a quick rundown of this super cool online learning program!
Disclaimer: I received this product free for my fair and honest review. I was not required to give a positive review or compensated in any other way!
First of all, it is online, however they do have consumable workbooks you can buy also (math & reading). Though its called Reading Eggs you also get access to Mathseeds, Reading Eggs (ages 3-7), Fast Phonics (ages 5-10), Reading Eggs Junior (2-4), Reading Eggspress (7-13). There is also a library! Within each of these programs are TONS of learning opportunities. We’re using this program with my 10 year old son, 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter. There are placement tests if you want or they just start at the beginning.
We have used this on our computer, tablets and phones. It has an app (Reading Eggs Learn to Read) available on Google Play and the App Store that you can download or you can go through your browser. All of our kids enjoy this program and ask to use it! 😉 There are also games on it which I use as a reward after they complete a certain amount of “work” time.
Each part of the program has a series of steps your child will work through as they learn. As they advance they earn points which they can redeem to buy things for their “home” and avatar.
What my kids love about the Reading Eggs learning program:
First off, all my kids from the 10 year old to the 4 year old LOVE Reading Eggs! Jake’s favorite part of it is the Reading Eggspress and that he gets to buy pets 🙂 Gabe’s favorite part is Mathseeds and playing Cow Jump. Lilly loves Mathseeds also and watching the experiment videos.
There is SO much to this program and that’s one cool way to use your 30 Day Free Trial is to just explore it! You can access all of your children on one dashboard which is extremely handy as there are not separate logins/passwords to keep up with. As your child completes each portion you can look at the dashboard and assess how they are advancing, what they’ve scored on quizzes and how many lessons they’ve completed.
A really neat feature is the BONUS MATERIAL tab at the top. There are loads of activity sheets, rewards maps and also a Homeschool feature which allows you to download an entire lesson plan for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades! There’s also sample lessons, lesson overviews and more!
The program is extremely easy to navigate even for my 4 year old. There are HOME buttons or EXIT on each page.
I am extremely pleased with Reading Eggs Learning Program and I highly recommend it. Not only is it an affordable option for helping with your homeschool its also a big help when you need your kiddos to work independently! Check them out and let me know what you think in the comment section!
