Larger-than-Average Family Shopping List
Hi, all! My last post was 2 weeks into our new grocery budget. We had been shopping 2 times on our modified shopping list. We’ve now officially made it to our third shopping trip and here’s the update…
Grocery Budget Update…
Last shopping trip we made no extra grocery runs!! Woohoo! We did grab one extra dozen of eggs at the gas station simply because I had accidentally left them off the list..oops!
So, today when my husband went shopping we were really in need of groceries! Now, we still had food, but snacks and fresh fruit were completely gone, as we’re eggs.
This trip we spent right at $319 which was slightly higher than planned ($300) however, we got 10 pounds of fresh ground beef for $2.19/pound and fresh pineapple for $0.99 each so we bought just a little more!
